Precautions before and after the aluminum extrusion die is put on the machine

(1) The heating temperature of the aluminum extrusion tool tool is specified before the machine: extrusion cylinder: 400~450 °C, extrusion pad: 350 °C, mold pad: 350~400 °C, flat die: 450~470 °C, shunt die: 460~480 °C, and the holding time is calculated according to the thickness of the mold (l.5~2 minutes/mm);  

(2) The heating time of the aluminum extrusion tool in the furnace is not allowed to exceed 10 hours, and if the time is too long, the die hole working belt is easy to corrode or deform;  

(3) At the beginning stage of aluminum alloy profile extrusion, it is necessary to apply pressure slowly, because the impact force is likely to cause mold plugging. If the mold is plugged, it is necessary to stop the machine immediately to prevent the working belt of the die hole from being crushed;  

(4) After the mold is unloaded, it should be cooled to 150~180 °C and then boiled in the alkali tank, because the mold is boiled at high temperature, and it is easy to be cracked by the impact of heat waves. And advanced etching washing methods should be used to recover and save lye, shorten the corrosion time and achieve pollution-free cleaning;  

(5) When assembling the split die, the repairer of the aluminum extrusion mold should use the copper rod to gently beat it, and it is not allowed to slam it with a sledgehammer to avoid excessive force and shaking the mold;

(6) Before nitriding of the aluminum extrusion die, the die hole working strip should be carefully polished to the surface roughness of Ra0.8~0.4μm; 

(7) The aluminum extrusion mold is required to be cleaned before nitriding, and no oil stains are allowed to be brought into the furnace; The nitriding process should be reasonable (depending on the characteristics of the equipment and the mold material), the surface hardness after nitriding is HV900~1200, and the nitriding layer is too thick and too hard to cause the nitriding layer to peel off. A set of molds is generally allowed to be nitrided 3~5 times; Complex high-magnification radiator profile molds are not nitrided; 

(8) The new molds, rod molds and round tube molds of old products can be directly nitrided without mold testing; New products and complex profile molds must be tested before nitriding treatment;  

(9) After the new mold of aluminum profile extrusion is qualified, up to 10 ingots should be unloaded for nitriding treatment to avoid pulling the working belt out of the groove; Excessive production should not be done between two nitrides, generally 60~100 ingots for the flat mold, and 40~80 ingots for the split mold, too much will pull the nitriding layer through.  

(10) After polishing the extrusion mold of the aluminum profile after use, it shall be kept in the oiling warehouse.
